My Heart’s Adventure

In January of 2025 I was the beneficiary of two separate heart warming acts of kindness. The first was when a gentleman anonymously put $150 into my account at the Veterinary Hospital. He had seen me come out with my elderly cat and probably overheard me say lightheartedly to my grandson that I would have to get a job to pay for the ongoing costs of her care. He told the staff I had seemed like a nice woman and that he was doing well at the moment. The staff and I were blown away with such generosity.

A little back ground knowledge is necessary regarding the second kindness: In the book I channeled, book three of the Waking Wisdom trilogy, Little Pearls and Little Gems, one wisdom teaching was simply Unleash Love. In a global zoom meeting I was asked which pieces from the book were special to me and I replied I was rather struck by the two words…unleash love. It made me question where I had in fact tied love up, where did I deny love, why did I deny it, what was the mechanism involved in unleashing love. These simple words provoked a deep inquiry within myself.

In October 2023 The Shift Network, (theshiftnetwork.com) advertised a course called The Science of Love, facilitated by Rollin McCraty PhD of The HeartMath Institute, (heartmath.org ). Unfortunately the course was costly, however, just a day or so prior to it starting the Shift Network sent an email saying I could apply for a scholarship. I had informed the universe that I wanted to do this course. My application gave me a 50% discount and although I missed the first session I attended the rest of the course. Module 2 was on the 31st of October and I had an amazing dream on the 1st of November. A summary of the dream: I am at a big gathering in the mountains, for learning. I am asked for my immigration credentials which is a rubber ball, in the dream I thought,  ‘this is my country and I don’t need to show credentials.’ Rollin McCraty comes up behind me and puts his hands on my shoulders and turns me slightly to the right. I am looking out a huge picture window, (note the dream pun…the big picture). The scenery is magnificent, river, trees behind it and snow sprinkled mountains in the background, all lit by a mellow golden light. I say to Rollin, ‘look, it’s all glittering.’ The glittering effect started with the snow and then flooded the entire panorama. It was quite stunning.

Just before the end of the last module, on the 12th of December it was announced that the HeartMath Institute was holding a conference in April 2025.  Due to the dream and what I had learnt during the course I really wanted to go.

The Love Unleashed conference, to be held in the Santa Cruz mountains was advertised on FaceBook. Note the title…Love Unleashed, the synchronicity hit me. I shared the advertisement and added a line which was quite out of character, asking if anyone would care to sponsor me. The conference was quite expensive. About two weeks later I was astonished to be contacted by an amazing person who wishes to remain anonymous and offered the opportunity to attend the conference. This was a huge gift and difficult to accept but I couldn’t get away from that dream and the ‘big picture’, so I accepted. As the time approached I often felt anxious about travelling across the world on my own and, particularly, about driving on the ‘wrong’ side of the road from SF to Santa Cruz mountains. When this happened I would tell myself to stop being silly, I was taking my heart on an adventure.

The Love Unleashed conference was held at the Chaminade Resort and Spa, I misread this name as the ‘shaman aid’ resort which was certainly applicable, I was a shamanic practitioner in need of a boost, everyday life was getting me down. A boost is exactly what I got, I had a marvellous time. My benefactor had even made sure I had a room of my own. I met many amazing people, forged new friendships, ate beautiful meals and, most importantly, listened to many wise speakers and learnt new facts about love, heart coherence and the power of its interaction with the world. At one point Rollin McCraty came up to me to make sure I had met a few fellow Australians who were attending. I had shown him the book with Unleash Love in it but never got the opportunity to mention my dream. He placed his hand on my shoulder and I froze as I was taken back to my precognitive dream. Never underestimate dreams, they aren’t tied to space and time.

After the conference I stayed one night in San Bruno and met up with my friend Jane the next day for lunch. We asked the hotel receptionist where we could find a good place to eat. She suggested the street behind the hotel had several eating places and then added we could try the One Love Cafe. We did, the food and staff were excellent. Additionally there were signs in the street with hearts on them. The first one I noticed said San Bruno, city with a heart.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my deeply heartfelt appreciation to all the souls involved in my heart adventure, particularly the dear person who provided the financial means for me to attend the conference, what gems you all are. As the world appears to grow more chaotic it seems kindness is rising to the surface as a counterbalance.

Finally I need to say that I don’t need immigration credentials or any permission to live in, create, explore and expand a world of heart. Neither does anyone else. Let’s get radical and unleash love.
